This summer set sail for VBS!

Bible school will be held in June. The theme is High Seas Expedition-Exploring the Mighty Love of God. Feel the sea spray on your face. Enjoy an exciting wave rolling adventure to the treasures of God’s Mighty Love Come Aboard!

The rat, monkey and their friends are waiting to meet you. I wonder what their other friends look like? What kind of adventures are they going to take us on?

If you are interested in helping with VBS please contact Sally Goff, Lorrine Moore or Patty Colburn. Volunteers are need in many areas including the following leaders:

Games, Crafts, Chadder Video, Snacks, Junior High Program, Preschool, Crew, Station Assistants, and Nursery. There is a possibility that we may once again attend a VBS networking party either in Peoria or Springfield in April. Let Lorrine, Sally or Patty know if you are interested in this event. Another where we will need your help is with decorations. Please look through your closets and garages for anything pertaining toa nautical theme—sailor hats, nets, stuffed fish, crates, barrels, etc. For more info go to

CONFIRMATION CLASS (Eighth grade and up)

Teacher: Cheyanna Losey

Last month the Confirmation Class served Home Communion on their own. Two adults drove them around as they made 6 stops. It was a wonderful time of watching their gifts and faith in action. During the month of March we will be focusing on learning about using our gifts for God, REST as faithful work for God and specifics about the PCUSA polity. Thank you to all who have provided lunch for us!
