Fifteen women attended the June 10 meeting which was opened with prayer Cheyanna. Hostesses for the brunch were Maxine Goff and Sally Goff and the moderator was Maxine Goff. Cheyanna gave the lesson entitled “The Challenge of God’s covenant” and was assisted by Mabel Losey. The secretary’s report was approved as read. There is a balance of $802.23 in the treasury. The treasurer’s report was approved as read. More help is needed for preparing lap robes. Enjoy a fun time and help cut and or sew every Wednesday at 1:00 pm. The budget of $1,894 for 2010-2011 was accepted.

Sally Goff thanked the ladies for the lap robes given for the Galesburg fun night to raise money for the trip to Louisiana.The Nominating Committee (Sally Goff, Marg Fields and Lorrine Moore) presented the new slate of officers. Co-Moderators: Maxine Goff and Pat Tursky. Secretary: Tolly Herndon, Treasurer: Carol Clement, Program Books: Donna Carlson, Marg Fields and Sheila Hoburg. Mission Chairs: Pam Picard and Betty Taylor. Nominating Committee: Marg Fields, Lorrine Moore and Jackie Nelson. There will not be a sewing chair person as this project is a mission project. Betty Taylor installed the new officers. PW will not meet in July and August.
